Replacing Tensioner/Damper Element

  1. Clamp belt tensioner in a vice at the hexagon.

    Use protective jaws! 

  2. Unscrew fastening screw -arrow-  on the lever.

    Information 

    • When fitting the damper element/tensioner, make sure that the lettering can be read from outside. 
    • The bellows must be facing upwards. 
  3. Fit new tensioner on the holder with the deflection roller and check installation position.
    1. 3.1. Tighten screw (M8 x 33).

      Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.) 



  1. Clamp belt tensioner in a vice at the hexagon.

    Information 

    • When fitting the damper element/tensioner, make sure that the lettering can be read from outside.
