Installing Secondary-Air Pump

  1. Install secondary-air pump.
    1. 1.1. Insert secondary-air pump -1-  .

      Guide secondary-air pump -1-  through between the coolant reservoir and intake-air distributor.

    2. 1.2. Connect cable plug -4-  to secondary-air pump.
    3. 1.3. Fit and tighten screws -3-  .

      → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)

    4. 1.4. Attach air hose -2-  to secondary-air pump -1-  .

      Rapid-action coupling must lock with an audible click. 

    5. 1.5. Open tie-wrap and move lines into installation position.
