Installing Secondary-Air Pump

  1. Fit secondary-air pump in the bracket.
    1. 1.1. Fit and tighten three internal Torx screws (M6 x 50) -1-  .

      → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)

  2. Position secondary-air pump with bracket on the intake-air distributor and holder.

  3. Fit bracket with secondary-air pump.
    1. 3.1. Fit top M6 screw on the holder (using a 1/4-inch socket-wrench insert with a magnet (Torx E10) and a long extension -1-  ).

    2. 3.2. Fit bottom M6 screw -1-  on the holder (using tool -2-  as in Step  3.1).

  4. Fit cable plug -1-  and secondary air line -3-  .
