Installing Rear Silencer

  1. Insert the silencer into the vehicle from the wheel side and move it into installation position.
    1. 1.1. Insert threaded bolts at the retaining points and fit two M8 lock nuts -1-  .

      Information 

      • Apply a light coating of high-temperature grease (e.g. Optimoly HT, Part No. 000.043.004.00) on the clamp or pipe adapter before installation. 
  2. Slide the clamping sleeve over the front silencer pipe and move it into installation position.

    1. 2.1. Fit the two hexagon nuts -1-  and tighten to the prescribed torque.

  3. Fit two M8 lock nuts on the rear silencer holders and tighten to the prescribed tightening torque.
  4. Fit tailpipe with a new ball clamp and adjust it.
