Component Overview

  1. Exhaust manifold with catalytic converter
  2. Always replace metal seal on three-hole flange
  3. Holder for front silencer
  4. Collar nut M8 (squeeze-lock nut)
  5. Holder for rear silencer with heat protection
  6. M8 lock nut, always replace
  7. Front silencer
  8. Clamping sleeve, replace collar nut if necessary
  9. Holding clamp for front silencer
  10. Cheese head bolt, M8 x 50
  1. Loosen threaded connection at the three-hole flange at the left and right on the exhaust manifold.
    1. 1.1. Screw off the three M8 lock nuts -1-  .

  2. Loosen mountings on the front silencer -1-  .
    1. 2.1. Loosen clamping sleeves. To do this, loosen two M8 hexagon nuts -2-  on each sleeve.
    2. 2.2. Loosen two M8 hexagon socket head bolts -3-  on the retaining straps. The front silencer can remain in the vehicle.
