Installing Heat Shield - Lower Part

  1. Upper part of heat shield
  2. Two outer Torx screws, M6 x 12 → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.) 
  3. Lower part of heat shield
  4. Four outer Torx screws, M6 x 12 → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)

  1. Upper part of heat shield
  2. Two outer Torx screws, M6 x 12
  3. Lower part of heat shield
  4. Four outer Torx screws, M6 x 12

  1. Install lower part of heat shield.
    1. 1.1. Secure lower part of heat shield with four outer Torx screws (M6 x 12) and tighten screws to the specified tightening torque.
    2. 1.2. Connect ignition coil plug for cylinders 5 and 6.
    3. 1.3. Secure upper part of heat shield with two outer Torx screws (M6 x 12) and tighten screws to the specified torque.
  2. Fit holder for rear silencer.
    1. 2.1. Fit top holder using two Torx screws (M8 x 12).
    2. 2.2. Fit bottom holder using two Torx screws (M8 x 25).
    3. 2.3. Tighten the screws.

      → Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ft. lb.) 

  3. Install exhaust manifold.

    → 261019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING EXHAUST MANIFOLD WITH CATALYTIC CONVERTER .
