Installing Exhaust Manifold With Catalytic Converter

  1. Position exhaust manifold with a new seal on the cylinder head and secure with a screw.
    1. 1.1. Check positioning tabs on the seal.
  2. Fit the remaining eight hexagon-head bolts.
    1. 2.1. Fit and tighten screws evenly according to the specified tightening sequence -1 to 9-  .
    2. 2.2. Initial tightening: 

      → Initial tightening: 25 Nm (19 ft. lb.) 

    3. 2.3. Final tightening: 

      → Final tightening: 33 Nm (24 ft. lb.)
