- Disconnect plug connections -1- and -2- for oxygen sensors on both cylinder banks.
- Expose lines up to the oxygen sensors.
- Unscrew Torx screws (M6 x 12) securing heat shield to turbocharger oil tank.
- Unscrew M8 lock nuts -arrows- .
- Get another person to help support the exhaust system.
- Unscrew cheese head bolts (M8 x 50) -arrows- on the restraining straps.
- Slide restraining straps -arrows- down off the holders.
- Remove exhaust system and heat shields with the help of another person.
