Installing Release Bearing

- The sliding surface of the release bearing has irregular slots. This is not a defect.

- Fit spacer -5- and spring washer -4- on release bearing -3- . Ensure that the spring washer is seated correctly.
- Engage release bearing with lugs (twist lock) in the cut-out between the tongues of the diaphragm spring.
- Fit release bearing and press pressure plate -6- down using a suitable pressure piece (e.g. a block of hardwood) until the circlip -1- can be fitted.
