Mechanical Emergency Triggering Of The Roll-Over Protection System

If the roll-over bar modules cannot be triggered via the diagnostic interface, mechanical emergency triggering is possible.

  1. Unclip cover by pulling upwards -1-  .
    WARNING: Incorrect handling of roll-over protection system
    • Roll-over protection system is activated

    → Remove ignition key.

    → Wait 1 minute before starting work.

    → Keep space clear for the roll-over protection system to move.

    → Only remove roll-over bar module when the roll-over bar is extended.

    → Remove ignition key.

    → Wait 1 minute before starting work.

    → Keep space clear for the roll-over protection system to move.

    → Only remove roll-over bar module when the roll-over bar is extended.

    • Roll-over protection system is activated

    → Remove ignition key.

    → Wait 1 minute before starting work.

    → Keep space clear for the roll-over protection system to move.

    → Only remove roll-over bar module when the roll-over bar is extended.

  2. Press with a screwdriver against the upper edge of the pawl -2-  . The roll-over protection system will be released.
