Checking Roll-Over Bar

Information 

Actuate the roll-over protection system only if:

  1. PIWIS Tester 9718  must be connected to the diagnostic socket. Switch on ignition. Select menu item "Airbarg/POSIP"  , and select menu item "Drive links"  in the command line which then appears, select "Triggering roll-over bar"  in the command line that appears. Press the key combination [F2] and [F8] within 2 s, as described in the Tester; the roll-over protection system is triggered. Please note: time until triggered approx. 10s!

  2. Press locking levers outward -arrow A-  and press in the roll-over bar -1-  (-arrow B-  ) until it is felt to engage -inset-  .
