Removing Front Belt Lock

WARNING: Defective front belt lock.
  • Danger of material damage and injury.

→ Do not kink front belt lock.

→ Observe sequence for removing and installing front belt lock.

  1. Remove tie-wraps -1-  on wire harness for front belt lock -2-  .

  2. Turn connector socket 90° to the left -arrow A-  and remove it from the seat shell -arrow B-  .

  3. Disconnect wire harness from the connector socket.

    1. 3.1. Remove tie-wrap -2-  on the connector socket -1-  .
    2. 3.2. Release single connectors -3-  (-arrows A-  ) and remove them from the connector socket -1-  (-arrow B-  ).
  4. Remove front belt lock.

    1. 4.1. Unscrew fastening screw -1-  .
    2. 4.2. Pull front belt lock -2-  out through the opening on the seat shell -arrow A-  .
    3. 4.3. Pull wire harness -3-  out through the seat frame -arrow B-  .
