Installing Front Belt Lock (Bucket Seat)

Incorrect handling of safety bolts
- Danger of injury
- Loss of torque
→ Always use new fastening screws and nuts following removal.
→ Observe specified tightening torques.
→ Carry out a visual inspection of all re-used parts.
Information
Always replace the fastening screws on the seat-belt buckle after customer service and reworking. The micro-self-locking screws must not be treated, greased or loosened and then screwed on again.
- Install front belt lock.
- 1.1. Insert front belt lock through the opening on the bucket seat.
- 1.2. Screw in fastening screw -1- , front belt lock -2- and washer -3- together with the threaded bush -4- . → Tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)
- Attach connector socket to support until it clicks into place.
Information
When routing the wire harness for the front seat-belt buckle, ensure that it is routed without tension.
- Route wire harness for front belt lock -2- and secure it to the retaining clips with three new tie-wraps -1- .
