Installing Front Belt Lock (Driver's Seat)

- Install front belt lock.
WARNING: Loosen the safety-related threaded joint.
- Danger of injury if belt lock is not screwed on correctly.
→ Always replace fastening screws for belt lock after customer service and reworking.
→ It is not permissible to make alterations to the microencapsulated screws (e.g. use lubricant, loosen bolts, and screw them down again).
- 1.1. Fit front belt lock -4-

) and secure with the fastening screw -3-
. → Tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)
Information
- The electric lead must not be routed too tightly around the seat cushion.
- 1.2. Route wire harness -1- and press it into the metal clips -2- (-arrow A- ).
- Assemble connector socket.
- 2.1. Push the single connectors -3- into the connector socket -1- (-arrow- ) until they engage securely.
- 2.2. Fit a new tie-wrap -2- on the connector socket -1- .
- Attach connector socket to the holder -arrow- until it engages securely.
- Secure wire harness.
- 4.1. Insert wire harness -2- into the two line brackets -3- (-arrows- ).
- 4.2. Affix new tie-wraps -1- .
