Triggering Of Airbag Units

WARNING: Detonation of airbag units.
  • Danger of injury from emerging objects, e.g. splinters.
  • Hearing impairment by explosion noises.
  • Danger of burns from hot airbag units.
  • Danger of poisoning by emerging gases.

→ Observe a safety distance of at least 10 m.

→ Wear hearing protection.

→ Each airbag unit, the respective ignition stages 1 and 2, and each belt tensioner must be triggered individually.

→ Allow airbag units to cool down for the appropriate time.

→ Open the vehicle doors to allow the gases to escape.

Connect the ignition device to a separate battery and press the button.
