Coolant Hoses At The Underbody - Draining Additional Coolant

  1. Loosen large coolant hoses -1-  .
    1. 1.1. Pull off safety clips -2-  on the Henn couplings.

    2. 1.2. Open the spring band clamps -3-  on the heater hoses -4-  .

    Information 

    • Check O-rings on the plug-in couplings and replace them if necessary. 
    • Clean plug connection and coolant hoses before assembly. 
    • Coat O-rings and coolant hoses with Kluber Plus Gel (Part No. 000.043.205.93). 
    • Remove stoppers before fitting the coolant lines and hoses. 
  2. Place a pan underneath and pull off the hose connections.
    1. 2.1. Refit the coolant hoses after draining the coolant. Check the safety clips.
