Information
- The coolant filled in at the factory is intended for lifetime cooling and, thus, need not be changed.
WARNING:
Hot fluid
- Danger of scalding
→ Let the fluid cool down.
→ Wear personal protective gear.
- Check antifreeze content.
- 1.1. Unscrew cap -1- on the coolant expansion tank.
- 1.2. Check antifreeze content using a commercially available antifreeze tester.
- 1.3. If it is below -35 °C , correct the antifreeze content by increasing the proportion of pure coolant accordingly.
WARNING: Caustic fluids- Danger of chemical burns
→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.
→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.
Information
- Only use Genuine Porsche coolant.
- Never mix coolant with other coolants.
- Check engine coolant level and correct it if necessary.
- 2.1. The engine coolant level must be between the Min and Max markings. If this is not the case, either drain off or top up coolant.
