Removing Bracket

NOTE:
Dirt and contamination
- Risk of damage to units or components
→ Protect components from dirt and contamination.
→ Clean or replace dirty components.
- Have a cloth ready to soak up drops of oil.
- Pull off cable plug on knock sensor -1- and oil pressure sensor -2- .
- Remove oil/water heat exchanger.
- 3.1. Disconnect vent line at the heat exchanger by opening the hose clamp.
- 3.2. Unscrew four external Torx screws (M6 x 16) and remove the heat exchanger using a cloth.
- 3.3. Replace O-rings and clean sealing surfaces.
- Unscrew four fastening screws (M6 x 20) for the bracket.
- Remove screws for oil-filter console support.
- 5.1. Unscrew external Torx screw (M6 x 16) on the rear holder.
- 5.2. Unscrew fastening screw (M6 x 12) -1- on the lower oil pipe.
- Remove coolant hoses at the left and right.
- 6.1. Loosen screw-type clamp -2- and pull off coolant hose -1- at the left.
- 6.2. Loosen screw-type clamp -2- and pull off coolant hose -1- at the right.
- Carefully clean sealing surfaces and connection piece for oil module on the crankcase.
- 7.1. Replace seal -2- and O-rings -1 and 3- .
- Carefully clean sealing surfaces -1- and connection piece -2- on oil module.
- Replace O-rings -2- on connection piece -1- for crankcase and clean sealing surfaces.
