Installing Bracket

NOTE:
Dirt and contamination
- Risk of damage to units or components
→ Protect components from dirt and contamination.
→ Clean or replace dirty components.
Information
Always replace gaskets and O-rings.
- Grease all gaskets (except for the cooling system) with Kluber Syntheso Glep (Part No. 000.043.204.68).
- Coat seals and O-rings lightly with the prescribed lubricant.
- Insert connection pieces -1-
with O-rings -2-
into the oil bracket.

Information
- Grease O-rings, hoses and lines in the cooling system with Kluberplus Gel (Part No. 000.043.205.93).
- Fit bracket on the crankcase.
- 3.1. Grease coolant hoses and slide them onto the connection pieces. Position and tighten screw-type clamps.
→ Tightening torque: 3 Nm (2 ft. lb.)
- 3.2. Position bracket on the crankcase and oil pipe and secure with four fastening screws (M6 x 20).
→ Tightening torque: 13 Nm (9.5 ft. lb.)
- 3.1. Grease coolant hoses and slide them onto the connection pieces. Position and tighten screw-type clamps.
- Secure oil bracket to the oil pipe and unit carrier holder.
- 4.1. Fit external Torx screw (M6 x 12) -1- on the oil pipe.
- 4.2. Fit external Torx screw (M6 x 16) -1- on the holder.
- 4.3. Tighten both screws.
→ Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)
- Install oil/water heat exchanger with new O-rings.
- 5.1. Fit and tighten four external Torx screws (M6 x 16).
→ Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)
- 5.2. Fit vent line on oil/water heat exchanger.
- 5.1. Fit and tighten four external Torx screws (M6 x 16).
