Removing Oil Tank

- Loosen oil filler tube mounting.
- 1.1. Screw off M6 collar nut -1- and remove clamping bow -2- .
- Remove lines on oil tank at the side.
- 2.1. Open the small spring band clamp on the connecting line to the resonance tube -1- and pull off hose.
- 2.2. Loosen union nut on return line (a/f 32) -2- . Counter at the hexagon on the oil tank while doing this.
- 2.3. Open the large spring band clamp on the connecting line to the rubber sleeve on the throttle housing -3- and pull off hose.
- 2.4. Open the large spring band clamp on the connecting line to the oil module -4- and pull off hose.
- Loosen the union nut (a/f 32) -2-
for the upper return line (at the front). Always counter at the hexagon on the oil tank -3-
when doing this.
- 3.1. Pull off cable plug on oil level sensor -1- .
- Loosen feed line between the oil tank and engine.
- 4.1. To do this, unscrew two M6 x 16 Torx screws. Collect escaping engine oil.
- Loosen mounting for oil tank at the side.
- 5.1. Unscrew two M8 x 35 Torx screws -1- and counter the lock nuts at the upper threaded joint.
- Unscrew M8 x 30 Torx screw -1- on the oil tank (flywheel side).
