Setting ahead the total mileage counter in the instrument cluster

NOTE: The kilometre reading must be set ahead after replacement of the instrument cluster.
  1. Setting ahead with the Porsche System Tester 2.

    Select vehicle type 911 (966)

    Select control modules

    Select instrument cluster

    Select total mileage

    Input Vehicle Identification Number

    Confirm with key F7

    Input kilometre reading

    Code with key F8

  2. The total mileage is adopted in the new instrument cluster after coding.
