Sticking On Protective Film

Information 

For the next steps, the template drawing must be printed out 1:1 and used as a template.

The template drawing is stored as "Protective film template" in repair group 7081.

  1. Cut out protective film (997.551.441.00  ) according to the template and the relevant vehicle side (left or right).
  2. Clean bonding surfaces on the trim panel for the roll-over bar -1-  with isopropyl.

  3. Align the protective film -1-  at a distance of 5 mm from the bore all the way around and stick it onto the trim panel -2-  .
