Installing Rear Cover

Information 

  1. Clean body flanges.
    1. 1.1. Remove adhesive residue on the body flanges and clean the body flanges using cleaning agent.
  2. Install rear cover in the middle.
    1. 2.1. Pull off protective film on the bonding surface.
    2. 2.2. Position centering notch -A1-  of the rear cover in the middle -2-  and centering notch -A2-  of the rear center panel on top of each other -Arrow A-  and press on rear cover in the middle -2-  .
    3. 2.3. Press rear cover in the middle -2-  in under the C-pillar cover -3-  (-Arrow B-  ).

  3. Install rear cover at the left and right.
    1. 3.1. Pull off protective film on the bonding surface.
    2. 3.2. Position rear cover at the left and right -1-  at the rear cover in the middle -2-  with the gap dimension -X-  (-Arrow A-  ). → Gap dimension X: 1 mm 
    3. 3.3. Press on rear cover at the left and right -1-  and move it out until it is touching the roof pillar flange -Arrow B-  .
