Resetting Service Interval

If the engine oil is changed during maintenance work, the service interval must be reset.

  1. Start PIWIS Tester II 9818  and follow the instructions on the Tester.
  2. Select vehicle type, press [F12] and start the automatic control unit search.
  3. Select the menu Instrument cluster  , Maintenance/repairs  and press [F12] to continue.
  4. Select the Reset service interval  menu and press [F12] to continue.
  5. Select the model year  and press [F12] to continue.
  6. Select the unit  and press [F12] to continue.
  7. Select GT vehicle  and press [F12] to continue.
  8. Check that → 5.  , → 6.  and → 7.  are selected and press [F12] to continue.
  9. The service interval is reset. Press [F12] to exit.
  10. Shut down the Tester and disconnect it from the vehicle.
