Checking Operation Of Control System

Information 

Vehicle must  be unlocked and the sales check item - Diagnostic system: systems activated and fault memory read out - must be performed. 

  1. Open the front luggage compartment lid and leave it open. Lock the vehicle with the remote control. Shortly after locking the vehicle, you should  hear a short warning beep from the alarm system horn.
  2. Close the front luggage compartment lid and lock the vehicle with the remote control. Shortly after locking the vehicle, you should not  hear a warning beep from the alarm system horn. If you hear a warning beep, check all doors, exterior lids, glove box lid and center console lid by opening and closing them one after the other.
  3. As soon as the vehicle locks without a warning beep, the LED - between the two air vents in the center of the dashboard - must flash quickly for several seconds and then flash slowly.

    Fault display  :

  4. LED flashes quickly for 2 seconds, lights up for 28 seconds and then flashes slowly >> connect the System Tester and read out the fault memory.
