WARNING:
Spring strut locking device installed when starting to drive
- Unexpected vehicle handling
→ Remove spring strut locking devices before a test drive or before handing the vehicle over to the customer.
Information
Spring strut locking devices are installed on the front axle on new vehicles in order to avoid damage to the floorpan assembly during transport (e.g. during loading and unloading). This increases the ground clearance of the vehicle.
No spring strut locking devices are required on the rear axle.
