Installing Seal For Convertible-Top Compartment Lid

Information

Before replacing seal, check the existing seal for signs of damage (tears, crushed areas, etc.). If there are signs of damage, the seal must be replaced.
The seal is pressed onto the flange without any additional sealant.

Lay seal for convertible-top compartment lid evenly along the flange. Position and press the seal without tension onto the flanges at the side panels -Arrows A- , at the corner pieces -Arrows B- and onto the flanges connecting to the engine compartment bulkhead -Arrows C- .

Information
- Pay particular attention to the areas near the tight roundings for correct installation; there must be no deformation or stretching.
Close convertible top.
