Adjusting Rear Cover

- Align the rear cover at the center and screw in the fastening screw. → Gap dimension A: 5 mm 1.5 mm → Gap dimension B: 7 mm 1 mm → Gap dimension C: 2 mm 1.3 mm
- Adjust the rear covers at the side according to the gap dimensions and tighten the fastening screws according to specifications. → Gap dimension A: 7 mm 1 mm → Gap dimension B: 2 mm 1.3 mm → Gap dimension C: 5 mm 1 mm → Tightening torque: 1 Nm (0.5 ft. lb.) → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)
- Remove the rear cover at the center and screw in the fastening screws (screw-on positions 3-4). → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)
- Install the rear cover at the center and screw in the fastening screw. → Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.)
- Take the covers -1- out of the storage compartments -2- (-arrow A- ) and fit them into the rear cover at both sides of the vehicle -arrow B- .
- Close and lock the convertible-top compartment lid.
- Check the contours with respect to the convertible-top compartment lid and convertible top support covers and correct them by moving them if necessary.
