Installing The Generator

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 9 other vehicles, including the 2013 Porsche 911, 2012 Porsche 911, 2011 Porsche 911, 2010 Porsche 911, and 2009 Porsche 911. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Position the generator in the engine compartment, fit the B+ line on the generator and secure with the fastening nut -4- . → Tightening torque: 18 Nm (13 ftlb.)

Insert electric connector on the generator until the connector clicks into place.
Push the generator onto the bracket and secure with the two fastening screws -3- . → Tightening torque: 45 Nm (33 ftlb.)
Position the deflection roller -2- and secure with the fastening screw -1- . → Tightening torque: 46 Nm (34 ftlb.)
