Installing Pulley

Information 

• Replace fastening screws for pulley. 
• The screw thread and crankshaft flange thread must not be greased. 
• Clean the thread on the crankshaft flange to remove grease. 

1. Fit pulley on the crankshaft flange.
   1. 1.1. Check the position of the dowel pin.
2. Install pulley -1-  .
   1. 2.1. Fit new fastening screws -2-  in diagonally opposite sequence.
   2. 2.2. Fix pulley -1-  in place with locating pin 9595/1 -4-  .
   3. 2.3. Pre-tighten fastening screws -2-  to the specified tightening torque in diagonally opposite sequence. → Initial tightening: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) 
   4. 2.4. Perform final tightening using special tool Electronic torque wrench, 2 - 100 Nm (1.5 - 74 ftlb.) 9768 → Final tightening: 90°

3. Locating pin 9595/1  can now be removed.
