Installing Engine Mounting

→ Secure components to prevent them from falling down.

1. Fit engine mounting -1-  on engine carrier and at the same time guide the threaded bolt -2-  through the bearing eyelet on the engine carrier.

2. Screw in and tighten two hexagon-head bolts (M8 x 35; M8 x 65 for active engine mountings) -2-  .

   Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.) 

3. For active engine mountings:  Plug in cable plug -3-  .

4. Fit and tighten M12 hexagon nut -1-  on the threaded bolt for the engine mounting.

   Tightening torque 85 Nm (63 ftlb.)

5. Lower jack together with transmission jack plate and push out of work area.
