Removing Middle Radiator
WARNING:
Hot fluid
- Danger of scalding
→ Let the fluid cool down.
→ Wear personal protective gear.
Information
Despite the fact that the coolant has been drained, residual amounts of coolant can still emerge at the joints during removal. Have sufficient collecting containers and cloths to hand.
Component overview:
- Clamp the coolant hose -1-
at the left and right on the radiator using hose clamps.WARNING: Caustic fluids
- Danger of chemical burns
→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.
→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.
- Pull off coolant hoses on the radiator at the left and right.
- 2.1. Open spring band clamps -2- and pull off hoses.
- 2.2. Collect emerging coolant.
- Remove radiator -1-

- 3.1. Press the radiator to the rear and out of the lower brackets -2- (-arrow- ).
- 3.2. Press the radiator forward out of the upper brackets -2- and hold it.
- 3.3. Take the radiator -1- out of the bracket.
