Removing Front Coolant Pipes
WARNING:
Hot fluid
- Danger of scalding
→ Let the fluid cool down.
→ Wear personal protective gear.
WARNING:
Caustic fluids
- Danger of chemical burns
→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.
→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.
- Disconnect front left coolant pipe.
- 1.1. Unscrew screw (M6 x 35) on the holder -1- .
- 1.2. Unscrew screw for cable duct.
- 1.3. Unclip vent line -arrow-

Information
Despite the fact that the coolant has been drained, residual amounts of coolant can still emerge at the joints during removal. Have sufficient collecting containers and cloths to hand.
- Remove front left coolant pipe.
- 2.1. Remove spring clamps -A- and pull off the coolant pipe -B- .
- 2.2. Unclip coolant pipe -C- .
- 2.3. Remove front left coolant pipe.
- Disconnect front right coolant pipe.
- 3.1. Unscrew screw (M6 x 35) on the holder -1- .
- 3.2. Unclip front right coolant pipe -arrow- .
- Remove front right coolant pipe.
- 4.1. Remove spring clamps -A- and pull off the coolant pipe -B- .
- 4.2. Remove front right coolant pipe.
- Disconnect lower front coolant pipe at the center.
- 5.1. Unclip coolant pipe -A- and remove holder -1- .
- Remove lower front coolant pipe at the center.
- 6.1. Remove spring clamps -A- .
- 6.2. Pull coolant pipe -B- out of the connections.
- Disconnect upper front coolant pipe at the center.
- 7.1. Unclip upper front coolant pipe at the center (-A- ) and remove holder -1- .
- Remove upper front coolant pipe at the center.
- 8.1. Remove spring clamps -A- .
- 8.2. Pull coolant pipe out of the connections -B- .
