Installing Front Coolant Pipes
WARNING:
Caustic fluids
- Danger of chemical burns
→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.
→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.
Information
- Check O-rings on the plug-in couplings and replace them if necessary.
- Clean plug connection and coolant hoses before assembly.
- Coat O-rings and coolant hoses with Kluber Plus Gel (Part No. 000.043.205.93).
- Remove stoppers before fitting the coolant lines and hoses.
- Install upper front coolant pipe at the center.
- 1.1. Fit spring clamps -A- .
- 1.2. Fit coolant pipe into the connections -B- and check that it is seated securely.
- Secure upper front coolant pipe at the center.
- 2.1. Clip upper front coolant pipe at the center into the holders -A- .
- Install lower front coolant pipe at the center.
- 3.1. Fit spring clamps -A- .
- 3.2. Fit coolant pipe into the connections -B- and check that it is seated securely.
- Secure lower front coolant pipe at the center.
- 4.1. Clip coolant pipe into the holders -A- .
- Install left coolant pipe.
- 5.1. Fit spring clamps -A- .
- 5.2. Fit coolant pipe into the connections -B- and check that it is seated securely.
- Clip in fastening elements on the left coolant pipe.
- 6.1. Clip in holders for coolant pipes -A- .
- 6.2. Clip in vent line -B- .
- 6.3. Tighten screw (M6 x 35) on the holder -1- . Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
- 6.4. Guide cable duct holder into the coolant line bracket and screw in the fastening screw.
- Install right coolant pipe.
- 7.1. Fit spring clamps -A- .
- 7.2. Fit coolant pipe into the connections -B- and check that it is seated securely.
- Secure the right coolant pipe.
- 8.1. Clip in fastening elements on the right coolant pipe -arrow- .
- 8.2. Tighten screw (M6 x 35) on the holder -1- . Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
