Removing Distributor Housing

Pull off coolant hose -1- at the left-hand side of the engine compartment.
1. 1.1. Remove spring clamp -2- and pull coolant hose out of the coolant regulator housing.
2. 1.2. Re-fit spring clamp.
3. 1.3. Check O-ring on the coolant hose and replace it if necessary.

Disconnect electric plug connection -1- .

Unscrew fastening screws -1 and 2- .

Unscrew fastening screw -1- .

Remove coolant distributor housing -1- .
1. 5.1. Unscrew fastening screws -3- on the coolant connection piece -4- and remove coolant connection piece -4- .
2. 5.2. Unscrew fastening screws -2- on the coolant distributor housing -1- .
3. 5.3. Unscrew fastening screws -6- and -7- on the water pump bracket -5- .
4. 5.4. Unscrew fastening screw -9- .
5. 5.5. Carefully pull coolant regulator housing -8- and water pump bracket -5- forward slightly -arrow- and pull coolant distributor housing -1- in -direction of arrow, top- to remove it from the coolant regulator housing -8- .
6. 5.6. Remove coolant distributor housing -1- and seals.
