Installing Coolant Distributor Housing

Information 

Replace sealing rings, seals and O-rings.

1. Install coolant distributor housing -1-  .
   1. 1.1. Position coolant distributor housing -1-  behind the water pump bracket -5-  and guide it into the coolant regulator housing -8-  in -direction of arrow-  .
   2. 1.2. Fit fastening screws -2-  , -6-  , -7-  and -9-  .
   3. 1.3. Position coolant connection piece -4-  and fit and tighten fastening screws -3 -  . Tightening torque 33 Nm (24 ftlb.) 
   4. 1.4. Tighten fastening screws -2-  and -7-  . Tightening torque 33 Nm (24 ftlb.) 
   5. 1.5. Tighten fastening screws -6 -  and -9-  . Tightening torque 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)

2. Position coolant pipe -2-  on the cylinder head cover and fit and tighten fastening screw -1-  .

   Information 

   Replace sealing rings, seals and O-rings.

3. Secure coolant regulator housing -3-  .
   1. 3.1. Position coolant regulator housing -3-  .
   2. 3.2. Fit and tighten fastening screws -1 -  and -2-  . Tightening torque 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)

4. Plug in electric plug connection -1-  .

5. Engage coolant hose -1-  in the coolant regulator housing and check that the spring clamps -2-  are fitted securely.
