Removing Coolant Regulator

  1. Remove heat protection -1-  .
    1. 1.1. Unscrew three screws -2-  and remove heat protection.

      WARNING: Caustic fluids
      • Danger of chemical burns

      → Avoid contact with caustic fluid.

      → Wear personal protective gear.

      → Ensure that there is good ventilation.

      → If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.

  2. Pull off cable plug -1-  and remove coolant regulator -2-  from the housing.

    Collect emerging coolant in a container.

  3. Check the seal -2-  on the coolant regulator -1-  .
    1. 3.1. If the seal is damaged, replace the coolant regulator.

  4. Clean sealing faces.
