Installing Coolant Pump

WARNING: Caustic fluids
  • Danger of chemical burns

→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.

→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.

Information 

Grease O-rings, hoses and lines in the cooling system with Kluberplus Gel (Part No. 000.043.205.93)  .

  1. Coat the seal with the specified lubricant.
  2. Fit coolant pump and secure with all screws and holders.
    1. 2.1. Tighten M6 screws.

      → Tightening torque: 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.) 

    2. 2.2. Tighten M8 screw.

      → Tightening torque: 33 Nm (24 ftlb.)

  3. Secure coolant pump holder to the coolant regulator housing with an M6 screw.

    → Tightening torque: 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.) 

    Information 

    • Grease O-rings, hoses and lines in the cooling system with Kluberplus Gel (Part No. 000.043.205.93). 
  4. Install coolant pipe -1-  at the bottom with new O-rings.

    Not for GT3 vehicles! 

    1. 4.1. Connect coolant hose -4-  and close the spring band clamp -3-  .
    2. 4.2. Fit and tighten M6 fastening screw -2-  .

      → Tightening torque: 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)
