Installing Reservoir
WARNING:
Caustic fluids
- Danger of chemical burns
→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.
→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.
Information
- Grease O-rings, hoses and lines in the cooling system with Kluberplus Gel (Part No. 000.043.205.93).
- Slide the tab on the reservoir into the mounting on the body -arrow- .
- Position and secure the reservoir -1-

- 2.1. Fit and tighten M6 screw -2-
.
→ Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
- 2.1. Fit and tighten M6 screw -2-
.
- Secure coolant hoses.
- 3.1. Engage coolant hose -1- .
- 3.2. Engage quick connector -bottom arrow- at the reservoir -3- .
- Secure coolant pipe -2-
.
- 4.1. Position coolant pipe -2- and engage it in the clips -1- .
- Fit bleeder valve and secure with a tapping screw.
→ Tightening torque: 3 Nm (2 ftlb.)
- Fit coolant level sensor.
- 6.1. Guide the coolant level sensor into position, turn it 90° clockwise and check that it is seated securely.
- 6.2. Connect cable plug.
- Connect vent lines and check that they are seated securely.
