Preliminary Work

→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.

→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.

1. Fill in coolant.

   → FILLING COOLANT .

2. Open engine cover.

   On Cabriolet vehicles, open convertible-top compartment lid.

3. Remove right cover -1-  and disconnect plug connection for spoiler drive.

4. Disconnect engine-compartment blower (without plug connections).

   → 198119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE-COMPARTMENT BLOWER .

5. Open the vent clip on the coolant reservoir (move to vertical position).
6. Clip in engine-compartment blower again.
