Preliminary Work

Information 

If the rear-axle cross member only has to be lowered, refer to the following document. → 420609 LOOSENING AND SECURING REAR-AXLE CROSS MEMBER 

1. Raise the vehicle.

   → 4X00IN LIFTING THE VEHICLE .

2. Remove wheels on rear axle.

   → 440519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL .

3. Remove cover for rear underbody.

   → 519419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR REAR UNDERBODY .
