Installing Front Final Drive

• Secure components to prevent them from falling down.  

Information 

• Protect the drive shafts from mechanical damage.

1. Install front final drive.
   1. 1.1. Carefully guide the front final drive into position from below. Be careful with the coolant pipes.
2. Screw in stud for front final drive bracket.

Tightening torque 17 Nm (13 ftlb.)  

3. Screw on and tighten nuts -2- on the studs -3- and counter at the hexagon of the stud.

Tightening torque 65 Nm (48 ftlb.)  

4. Secure final-drive holder -1- with M10 screws -2-

Tightening torque 65 Nm (48 ftlb.)  

5. Remove transmission jack.
6. Secure drive shafts.
   1. 6.1.Screw in and tighten screws on the drive shafts and counter at the relevant front wheel.

   Tightening torque 39 Nm (29 ftlb.)  

7. Connect cable plug to the final drive and check that it is seated securely.
