Installing Electromagnetic Clutch
- Install electromagnetic clutch with new O-rings.
- 1.1. Coat O-rings with clutch fluid.
- 1.2. Push electric lines for the clutch through the pass-through opening -2- in the long-neck pipe -1- .
- 1.3. Push screws (M8 x 100 mm) for guiding the clutch through the openings -arrows- in the long-neck pipe and screw them (1 to 2 turns) into the thread on the clutch.
- 1.4. Push the clutch as far as it will go into the long-neck pipe, making sure that the teeth are positioned correctly.
- 1.5. Remove M8 x 100 mm screws, and screw in and tighten original screws.
Tightening torque 17 Nm (13 ftlb.) +2 Nm (+1.5 ftlb.)
- Install long-neck pipe.
- 2.1. Insert long-neck pipe and clutch into the housing. The twist lock must be positioned correctly with respect to the retaining lug -right arrow- .
- 2.2. Screw in screws and tighten them crosswise in several steps.
Tightening torque 27 Nm (20 ftlb.) +2 Nm (+1.5 ftlb.)
- 2.3. Route vent line and secure it at the retaining brackets.
- Pin in electric connector.
- 3.1. Push both pins into the electric connector until they engage securely.
- 3.2. Close secondary lock in the connector.
- 3.3. Connect electric connector on the housing.
- Remove final drive from the vice and take off the retainer plate.
