Installing Right Sealing Ring For Halfshaft Flange
Information
- The aluminum screws for the housing neck on the transmission must be replaced.
- The aluminum screws must be tightened using the yield-point-controlled tightening method.
- The special tool: Electronic torque wrench 9768 is used for this purpose.
- To ensure that the screws are tightened uniformly, the corresponding tightening setting "light, medium or hard" must always be used.
Information
- Check that the sealing ring is seated correctly on the tool.
- The sealing ring is fitted dry. Do not touch the sealing lip!
