Installing Rear Anti-Roll Bar
Information
- Always replace fastening screws that are tightened to a torque angle.
- Check anti-roll bar for corrosion and damage to the anti-roll-bar mounts.
- Check suspension/stabilizer and PDCC actuator for damage and play.
- Screw two anti-roll bar clamps -1 and 2-
to the rear axle cross member.
Tighten screws -3- to Tightening torque 65 Nm (48 ftlb.) .
Tools: Open-end/ring wrench insert Nr.98-1 Pos.1 .
- Fit the connecting link (suspension/stabilizer) to the anti-roll bar on both sides of the vehicle. Use new collar nuts.
Initial tightening 40 Nm (30 ftlb.) Final tightening +30°
