Preparing Side Panel For Installation

Fit and secure the side panel. Check gap dimensions. → WM 5X00IN GAP DIMENSIONS - body gap dimensions
1. 1.1. Make a cut on the side member.
Information

Mark cut in accordance with the new part. Make sure to leave an overlap of approx. 3 cm with respect to the body.

Remove side panel.
Prepare connection areas of the side panel welding and bonding. Working with body structural adhesive → WM 5X00IN WORKING WITH BODY STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE

Green	Resistance Spot-Welding
Yellow	Resistance Spot-Welding + Bonding
Red	Plug-Welding (Inert Gas)/Apply A Full Weld Using Inert Gas Without Bonding
Blue	Bonding
