Removing Hinge For Convertible-Top Compartment Lid

→ Do not bend, trap or crush hydraulic lines.

→ Protect hydraulic system from contamination.

1. Fold convertible-top compartment trim in slightly.
2. Guide wiring harness for convertible-top compartment lid out through the hinge.
3. Loosen safety clips -1-  .

4. Disengage hydraulic cylinder -2-  and set it down on the convertible-top compartment.
5. Determine installation position of the hinge.

   1. 5.1. Mark the contour -1-  of the hinge using a suitable tool.
   2. 5.2. Determine the adjustment height of the hinge -2-  using a steel rule and write it down.
6. Unscrew fastening nuts -1-  and fastening screw -2-  and remove the hinge.
