Removing Convertible-Top Compartment Lid

Information 

Use a marking pen to mark the position of accessories with respect to each other before removal in order to reduce the amount of adjustment work required for gaps and joints.

1. Disconnect electric plug connection for rear window heating.
2. Unclip wiring harness on convertible-top compartment lid.
   1. 2.1. Disconnect electric plug connection on the rear wiper.
   2. 2.2. Guide wiring harness out through the bodyshell of the lid.
3. Unclip wiring harness as far as the rear left hinge.
4. Mark installation position with a marking pen before removing the convertible-top compartment lid. 

   Unscrew and remove fastening nuts -1-  on the hinge at the left and right.

5. Remove convertible-top compartment lid.
