Removing Center Convertible Top Rooflining

  1. Unclip convertible top rooflining -1-  now.

    1. 1.1. Detach convertible top rooflining -1-  from the surface roof strut at the Velcro fastener using an assembly wedge -2-  .

      Information 

      Use a suitable tool as an aid for unclipping the component at the marked areas.

    2. 1.2. Unclip convertible top rooflining -1-  now.
      1. 1.2.1. Detach Velcro strip on the top of the surface roof strut (convertible top joint).
      2. 1.2.2. Press the locking lugs of the clips -3-  on the back of the surface roof strut together. -arrows B- 

        Release the clip by pressing on it with a socket wrench (a/f 6) -4-  . -arrow C- 

  2. Check fastening points for signs of damage.
  3. Replace damaged clips.
