Information

The convertible top and convertible-top compartment lid are calibrated using the diagnostic interface in the vehicle and PIWIS Tester II 9818  . The various sensor values (for the convertible top and convertible-top compartment lid) are determined during calibration. For this purpose, the convertible top moves to the end positions "open" and "closed" one after the other. If the sensor values are plausible, these values are stored in the convertible top control unit.

The original calibration values must be deleted from the convertible top control unit before starting calibration.

The procedure described here has been structured in general terms; different text or additions may appear in PIWIS Tester II 9818  .
